Hello, my name is Joannie Genne and I have been in travel most of adult life. My career in travel started early with American and Eastern Airlines. I have also been an instructor in a travel academy before becoming a Travel Consultant in 1992.

I am an inquisitive person and take pleasure in planning a business trip or a vacation for my clients to any and ALL destinations. I enjoy planning each trip, tailor made to excite my customers. The world is smaller when you connect the dots….

My favorite destinations are Family trips, Alaskan cruise adventures, Caribbean Getaway for Couples and Honeymooners, European tours through different countries, Luxury cruises, Asia, South America and Australia Down Under. Each one is exciting and unique.

I enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect vacation for every client, and knowing I helped to make their lasting memories brings me personal satisfaction.

Anyone who knows me realizes that my hobbies are my home. Away from work, I enjoy the theatre as well as friends and, of course, my wonderful family. I make a decadent yummy brownie on occasion as well.

We made it back late last Wed, the trip was fantastic!!

The Regent hotel was just great, they upgraded us both ways to a big corner suite & we had complimentary breakfast buffet ( They have a great breakfast buffet, anything you want plus anything you can imagine, smoked fish, cheeses, fresh pastries etc etc -just great). And the staff was even better than I remember  -  ask for a wakeup call and they knock at your door with fresh teas and coffee. Pool staff brings you fresh smoothie shots, cool towels to wipe off and on and on.

Cruise was also super; one "glitch" - which we actually found nice; when we arrived to check in we were informed there was a problem with the Indonesia port authority and we were not going to Bali....so instead they took us to Saigon, Vietnam & Bangkok, Thailand  neither of which we had been to so we enjoyed it immensely.

Singapore Air business class is soooo good - best bc I've ever been in

So many thanks for your efforts, it was truly the best trip we have been on!

We have returned home safely and I just had to thank you for all your time and effort...and for making this special trip possible!

Everything went smoothly...no lost luggage or cancelled flights...no problems with the hotels or the transfers.  The hotels were all in great locations making it easy to catch the metro or a taxi or to explore the city by walking.  The hotel in Budapest was the most helpful!

Compass did an excellent job with the Romanian part of our journey!  And of course, we had a guide & translator in Belarus, too.

Words cannot begin to express how special those times were!  So you not only facilitated travel...you helped reunite three families!

Thank you for taking the time, the service we received in your office was exemplary.  Having my own business makes me somewhat knowledgeable with good service  and very appreciative of it.  We were very happy with the service that Joannie gave us, she is a wonderful person to work with.  We initially were very skeptical about our vacation to the Maya Riviera but as you see we enjoyed  it so much that we have decided to go back to the same place and through the same agency.  We hope our visit will be as memorable as last year ...and thank you  for the offer of assistance during the vacation, which brings me to ask is there a number that we can call for help with  issues that could not be solved by us relating to the vacation when we are in Mexico especially when we arrive on the week end.  Have a wonderful day .
