TravelPlex Travel & Cruise, a St. Louis based travel management company, has an immediate opening for a Director of Hotel Sales.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong hotel sales experience to work for one of St. Louis’ best travel management companies.

Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the President, we are looking for an experienced Director of Hotel Sales who is self-motivated with the ability to multi-task. This position requires professional, courteous interaction with our senior leadership team, corporate counselor team, along with both existing and prospect corporate clients as well as vendors.

The person applying should have some knowledge of Travelport reservations systems (GDS) and Concur, as well as other industry specific software.

  • Negotiate New Corporate Hotel Contracts for Corporate Clients
  • Manage Existing Hotel Contracts for Usage and Compliance
  • Monitor daily reports for hotel sales and program usage
  • Active Participation During Implementation Processes for New and Existing Clients
  • Staff Training
  • Maintain and Cultivate Vendor Relationships
  • Comfortable with Learning New Programs
