St. Louis, MO (November 1, 2018): St. Louis’s leading travel company announced they are expanding in the Southern Illinois market: TravelPlex Travel & Cruise, a Branch of Tzell Travel Group, has signed an agreement to acquire B & A Travel Service, which is headquartered in Carbondale, Illinois. The merged operations of the two companies will represent $55 million in annual sales.
TravelPlex Travel & Cruise President John Heimburger will oversee the combined companies. David Coracy, former owner of B & A Travel Service is taking a position within TravelPlex along with most of the B & A Travel staff.
“Over the years, I have always admired and respected B & A Travel and their management team for the way they ran their agency and competed in the travel arena,” said Heimburger. “Now that they are a part of TravelPlex, we are thrilled to have them on our team.”
